shhesh long time gone past since i was here.in this day and age you need Bots to draw hits and i kinda thought so very few people came here for legitimate reasons. To read this, that is. Anyway..im back from Malaysia where i had the most amazing time.i want to keep traveling.Malay people are so friendly and cool, coming back to Melb was ...just a little depressing. Im now working on this show with Stelarc. Its going to be WAY cool. Been at it all day, had to cancel first night.nother change of events is that i decided to do somthing KNOBLE ..and do volunteer work for BIRDS AUSTRALIA or another such cause.Help one bird live out its life..would give me good feelings.
I think Facebook is stealing my blogger time. its been a while now since a post. heres where im at - Malaysia in a month, Second life/Stelarc work going extremely well. I plan to do more theater next year and TRY get some virtual/ real life performance happening. Its all rather daunting. but first things first and Malaysia! oo. ill have to get a little more zen/Buddhist and put aside addictions for a month ! :-o This is a picture of my friend Fau, and me, Pye relaxing in Second life.
Dear Diary, OK time to face to music and dive head first into the unknown.Malaka here comith a performer!I need remember im a spirit of chaos, an angel of light..and that my life is adventure not a chore!
I try to remain unfazed to things that arrise. No money..been living on 20$ the past week, and last night the power box in my main computer failed. i have to replace it asap as ive got ALL my art on it, and the machinima im ment to be showing at a confrence in October. the part will cost $135 i havnt got!! anyway, a fun day ..been on a bike ride and checked out Northcote festival for an hour.
I need a patron of the arts. Been working my BUTT off for rmit, stelarc, Monash. and have 50$ to last me 11 days.I live up the road from 'Lentil as anything' so at least i wont starve. There is no Money in art.. but there IS fame... Heres the ARTLINK article (when its uploaded) and heres a picture of Pyewacket who sneaked herself onto an art gallery wall last night.
no post in a while, been too busy.. mad dancing in real life and mad dancing in second life. im inspired today as the article about me and my avatar, Pyewacket,in ARTLINK came in the mail. Fame!! aha its quite funny really..i managed to get in a lot of private jokes. But more than anything ive been able to present an avatars personality as not only a maker of art but as an art work in her own right! talk about cutting edge 3d interactive post-modernism!! go Pyewacket Kazyanenko! your my hero :) xoxoxo
Ive been inspired by reading some essays by Roy Ascott. An artist of cybernetics. Some words helped me rest from the 'having to make an art object' to justify my artistic practice:
Cross-sectoral sensibility A new creaive practice, unamed and unbounded, crosses the domains of art, science, technology, and philosophy, but is centered in none. Its principle concern is with mind, states of being, and the process of becoming.
