I celebrate my 254th post on 'Littlecogs' with a video that brings tears to my eyes. 'Its a Mans MAns World' performed by my all time favourite pop band 'The Residents' This is what the Residents look like in 2007, as obscure as ever and never a deep moment lost.
Tonight im performing in '180 seconds of heaven or hell' at the North Melbourne town hall. Im just a prop really, but its an imense honor to be on stage WITH the 'Town Bikes' even for just 180 seconds. I saw how they made it into the arts section of THE AGE newspaper which is pretty cool. Im part of grand performance art! :-D
Todays my Birthday! Im 39. So far so good. Ive had a few embarrassing moments in my life but all and all its been a fun ride so far. Last night Melbourne almost reached record breaking over night hotness. I had a terrible sleep. Today is very windy. First thing i have to do is go down the road and get a tube for my bike tyre. Not the most fun thing to have to do on my celebrationary day. Best i treat the day like any other. ;-)
This is me and my hallucinagenic rabbit friends in the movie 'Winner', yet to be completed and released. It was shot two years ago now, so this is old news, but no pictures have been seen of it. I sneaked these from the costume designer. The opening of the movie is planned, i hear, for later in the year.
Heres one for my mother, who's name starts with the letter 'N'. i had a mega classic sesame street session yesturday... i highly recomend the trip...just youtube 'classic sesame street'.
After a rude awakening this morning by having to break up a cat fight i finished the last chapter of THIS book. 'Sacrament' by Clive Barker. It re-kindled animalistic urges within my restless soul! Its an epic story full of magic and explorations into the mysterious spirits of the world. i love grand storytelling.
My highlight of the week is being able to chat in real time with my American pen pal, Enid. Shes a cat looker after'er and cool mom. Its amazing to be able to have fun online but just a little frustrating as distance becomes apparant, and one cant go on picnics quite as easily.
