My....and a big day out it was!
IT was interesting witnessing POP icon culture.
It was kinda overwhelming, the thousands of people.
My performance crew were too disorganized, so our 'work' was somewhat loose.
I ending up doing a 'performance' alongside the ice cream truck. These girls were on TOP of the van, not my crew, (doing..not much).
I was acting this coke'd out raver with my pink hot pants on.I got a bit carried away getting quite 'butoh' and dark and tranced out. People probly thought i was for real...these moron guys got disturbed and tryed to punch me and pick a fight!-it was a ha ha situation really for me. Maybe I was a bit extreme for the ...straightish...crowd!.
Anyway...it was interssting how my darkness made its appearance through such a character. It makes me confused as to weather im an 'entertainer' or ....something else. I like to think....THE TRICKSTER!
My Server is serving me half speed so i havnt the patience to include a witty picture THIS blog.
Ive been listening to 'The Candyman' song over and over. (you all know the one...)
For a performance at the 'BIG DAY OUT' with my band The Laxatives. We have our own Ice Cream truck to stand on the roof of and be rockstars , with candycoated songs coming out over the megaphone. We will be chased by addorible papparatzzi. Im gonna play some kind of Homi m' fcker, yo bro dumbass. (Finally i get to take the piss of a sterotype i so dearly despize!). This is all happeneing on Sunday. There will be 50,000 drunk and sweaty teenages! My rockstar dreams come true...

Bush Fires make great sunsets.
Theres no pictures or words to describe the beauty in a storm last night. I went for a ride after a very hot day to chase a firery sunset ,then finding views to watch an ultra visual lightening storm with flashing forks and then home to escape heavy rain. I got back to find the power had been cut off, so it was all VERY exciting. Today is HOT. My internet is running slow, probly due to my 'exceeding download limit' (Telstra U bastards!), so im on dial-up speed!Cant do anything on that snail pace!
Consume pointless unusual Brik-a-brak here.
Vali Myers-is an Australian artist who i got great inspiration from. I had a book of hers in my early 2o's, and got to meet her here in Melbourne in 1999. She died in 2002. She was the Grandmother opium artist-Gypsy queen-Animal lover-1950's French Lap dancer. She had an amazing 'foxy' tattoo on her face.
I sat with her and was shown books and was told about the good old days of sweet dreams, not like the druggie days of today.
She loved dogs and had many.- Her stories were amazing, a REAL beat/hippie hanging with famous people in the French cafe's of the 50's & 60's.
Her studio is still open, on Swanston st, I recommend a visit.

The Gods are smiling. After going for a swim today i took a short cut through development at the old Coburg Prison. (They are making apartments in it!). There were a lot of large piles of rubble, brickwalls with the barbed wire still on and old watch towers.
Up against one wall there was a HUGE Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro).
"Myyyyyyyy.... GoDD!" ...
I thought.

Guess what i did today?........
...Thats right!, mowed the grass and trimmed the edges!
