We had a fire. I had only just moved in to this beautiful house with beautiful people, at 6.45 Friday morning the central heating started up making a woomph and catching nearby towels . The alarms went off. Ben, my new house mate, rushed past my room, naked, yelling ,"the house is on Fire!!". He was trying to put it out with pots of water. Smoke was soon filling up my room. I opened the window and looked around tryng to think of things i should 'save'. i chose my computer, which took more than a moment to unplug. I then chucked my doll mask , costume and doll boots out the window.It got too smoky so i joined Madu, Ben and little Sol out the front where we sat in a wimpering huddle. The firemen came and soon the fire was out. WE thought , at the sight of the smoke bellowing out, that ALL was lost, but after assessment , only the laundry, bathroom and living room were badly damaged. my room was totally ok! not even a smoke mark. So ...im staying at the house still, airing the place out and awaiting an army of insurance people, cleaners and builders. The insurance will pay for it all. The whole thing was VERY scary. im putting word out to everyone....MAKE SURE YOUR SMOKE ALARMS ARE WORKING!!!

Just a note - After 4 months of a Grand Royal run around, moving places, using internet cafe computers and so forth, Im finally back online and using my own computer. The luxury!! The joy!

Im piecing together the parts of the doll which im preforming in this spring. There are three separate places to take her.'Danceathon 5oo', the 'Natimuk festival' 'The Village' Its an interesting project, and what i believe to represent cutting edge contemporary theatre! Refrencing Anime Cosplay, kigurumi, and Gothic sensibility and using Mime and Butoh I mix and play on a stage of performance art.

This past week ive been having to maintain my composure. Lost love potential, lost home potentials [Being quite homless] , a stronger than usual cold and today i dropped my cell phone which was then run over by many a fast car. Truly a bad luck week!

Im excited because I put some money down on my new DOLL costume. A Gothic dress and black boots. She should be ready to perform at the Town Bikes benifit gig 'Dancathon 5000' in two weeks. Oh ! shes going to be beautiful!

This is what i do for my day job. WEll, somthing like this anyway. I must have done thousands of hours of stillness now in my 9 year career as a life model. Its fun , its easy..it gets kinda boring after a while.

Maybe Im back on track, here doing a blog or two, for a while. Im staying at my friend Deans untill December.Its a small apartment and im in the living room but itll be a pleasure treating Den to company, big screen movies, and wholesome cooking.
